How Do You Measure Your Ring Size?

Method 1

Step 1: Gather your tools: Grab a ring you already own that fits you comfortably. A ruler will also come in handy. 

Step 2: Measure the diameter: Hold the ring flat and measure the distance across the inner circle, at its widest point. This will be the inner diameter of your ring in millimetres (mm).

Step 3:Match your measurement: Use the chart below to find your corresponding ring based on the inner diameter in millimeters you measured. 

Method 2

Step 1: Find your string: Grab a piece of string or thread . Don't worry if it's not fancy , as long as it's fancy, as long as it's flexible and thin.

Step 2 : Wrap it up: wrap the string comfortably around the base of your desired finger (the finger you intend to wear the ring on). Make sure it's snug but not too tight. 

Step 3: Mark the spot: Once you've completed a full circle, use a pen use a pen to mark the spot where the string overlaps itself. 

Step 4:Measure away: Carefully remove the string and lay it flat on a ruler. Measure the distance between the mark you made and the end of the string in millimeters (mm).

Step 5: Match your measurement : Use the ring size chart above ( refer to method 1 ) to find your corresponding ring size chart based on the string measurement in millimetres.

Pro Tip!

• Measure your finger at the end of the day when your fingers are slightly swollen. This will ensure a more comfortable fit.
• If you're between sizes, it's always better to go for the larger size. You can always get a ring sized down later, but it's trickier to size up a ring.
• Those rings might not fit after a night of epic dinner or a night out. Maybe measure your fingers tomorrow... after some hydration.
